conceptualization
I consider myself lucky in the sense that I’ve found myslef as a person, thanks to creating. Whether it’s graphic design, illustration, classical art or industrial design, I thrive on being creative, collaborating, understanding
and solving problems. To me these are the fields where I can be in the flow state for hours, which is probaby
the best, most rewarding place to be in one’s mind, but since this state of mind prevails best with a high skill
set and in challenging situations, I never stop mastering my skills and also seek out new opportunities. I
consider my biggest strenghts the abilities to identify problems, finding a good conceptualization for the
solution and bringing these ideas and concepts to life. In the course of projects my biggest challenge is
working through a creative block that’s stemming from boubt and rasing too many questions, but over the
years I came up with the solution of using this in my advantage, where it doesn’t take long for me to switch
sides and turn uncertainty and doubt to analyzing and pointing out weak elements that need improval.

junkyard
recycled
BACKGROUND
The Junkyard pub was a notorius place in
downtown Cluj Napoca, shut down over time
because of the numerous noise complaints
and pretty outrageous parties. After a
change in the pub’s manangement
department, this rebranding project had as
it’s main task as to revive the place, coming
up with a name that suggests a new
beggining and creating a visual language
that’s new, while still bringing the thematic
past of the place and remembering it’s
mischievous history, which became a local
trademark.

WHAT I LEARNED
This was a great oportunity working on a re-branding project at
PIMD studio, where outside of making the necessary elements
of a brand, we also had our hands on a subject that already was
well known locally, yet it lacked a strong visual identity, so in a
way we knew that this new thing will generate a certain amount
of reactions. This way we always had a constant check system,
which made things exciting.

átlátszó
erdély
BACKGROUND
Átlátszó Erdély (meaning: Transparent
Transylvania) is an independent investigative
journalism project published by Átlátszó
Erdély Association. Their goal is to contribute
to a transparent, accountable and
democratic Hungarian community of
Transylvania.
At the Vizualitas Studio this was one of the
first major projects where I had larger input,
but it was also a great teamwork.
11
WHAT WAS DELIVERED
Our approach was to create a
clean and easily receptible
content surface, where the
accent is on the composition,
proportion and partition,
accompanied with very minimal
visual elements, which would
otherwise distract from the
main function of the webpage,
it’s fact driven content. These
solutions also reflect the
straight forward objectivisim
and fact driven attitude of the
journalism of the association

deco days
ABOUT
Deco Days is the launching event of the
Mendola Fabrics (a family run home&deco
business) Fall/Winter Collections. Over the
years Deco Days became emblematic for
Mendola Fabrics Brand, giving the guests a
complex sensory experience. Every year they
search for the most original ways for their
guests to identify themselves with the latest
collections, deepen market trends, learn
about interior design, and get new ideas into
developing their own businesses.
At it’s 4th edition in 2019 the focus of the
event was on the people that are bringing
the Mendola Fabrics brand to life.
WHAT I LEARNED
The Visualitas Studio was responsible for
creating communicating the events message
on all the different visual elements. For me it
was a really good learning opportunity to
create something that has it’s own voice, but
also it is a recurring event which complies
with a larger business groups’ world.

MILK
BACKGROUND
Milk! Gallery aims to provide opportunity for
young and elder artists as well to introduce
themselves. The gallery can accommodate
small-format and small amount of artistic
works. The purpose of the gallery is to
present artists of different styles and
generations to the audience and to one
another, thereby creating both a physical
and mental platform that facilitates organic
and real relationships among them.
The gallery is hosted by Vizualitas Studio,
which lends its walls to these temporary
exhibitions.

THE RESULT
This was one of my favorite projects at Vizualitas Studio,
since it was an all in house project and we had a lot of
freedom and fun while discussing on where we wanted to
head with the message. It can be very instructive when there
is basically no starting point and no outside feedback, it has
it’s positive effects, but also can be decelrating factor.
So rather than frustrating ourselves with negative thoughts
like this is a super rare opportunity, where we can show what
we think is the bechmark of a great branding identity, instead
we just went with the flow, focusing on the pleasure of our
jobs and what we felt is honest, yet strong and confident.
