NORTH CAROLINA From a dataset available for the CoVID-19 history of the United States, the data for 100 counties of North Carolina has been taken for analysis. 2 TOTAL CASES The report beside presents a map of NC, of data available for those counties. The overall data presented is for the entire state, viz., 7014 total cases, out of which the average deaths are 6 per day. Data available for the counties is indicated on the map, with different shades. The darker the shade, the more severe the contagion, in that region. Clicking a county loads the data available to the other visualizations. An area chart here is used to display the total cases (light blue) with the other data viz., daily cases and deaths reported 3 COUNTY SPECIFIC DATA The highlighted county has been clicked and the data visuals have updated to the county’s specific values The area chart is based on the values for the period of March 2020, split into intervals as applicable Hover to view date specific data, is made available on the report for further accounting 4 WORST AFFECTED COUNTIES From the analysis, it is derived that Mecklenburg County, Wake County, Durham County, Guilford County and Forsyth County have been worst affected, with the visual composition of the cases in each of these counties 5 WORST AFFECTED COUNTIES From the analysis, it is derived that Wayne County, Burke County, Surry County, Pamlico County and Tyrrell County have been sparingly affected by the CoVID-19 contagion. 6 CONCLUSION ANALYSIS RESULT The spread of CoVID-19 in the United States, North Carolina State is over a definitive distributed geographical area, and appears to have severe magnitude (number of persons infected) the closer the contagious counties are. Contagion when at close areas can be curbed and prevented from spreading to the healthy areas as the disease is believed to spread only by contact. Home testing at the lesser affected areas to be taken up in phases, and ensuring proper availability of medical facilities at counties where the contagion is more severe should be considered immediate priority. Suspend the gathering of people for insignificant reasons, imposing a lockdown, and ensure public transport is run with moderate crowds only.
