Hello everybody, My name is Grace Locsin, and I am a freelancing thought
leader. I have helped a lot of people when it comes to getting hired as a
freelancer through our online courses and now through in-person training. Surge
Marketplace is not just into freelancing training but also freelancing services and
solutions. And when it comes to our services, we have been assisting graduates
and other freelancers on how they can be hired as freelancers, and in this
process, we have a lot of observations and a lot of things that we discovered.
There is an issue of mindset, there's also an issue of culture differences, there's
also an issue when it comes to. One of the major things when it comes to why the
freelancers are not hired is that there is an issue on mindset. There's also an issue
when it comes to work ethics, culture differences and most especially
alignment. Recently, however, I also noticed that there are freelancers who are
really just choosy and finicky when it comes to the hiring process. One would let
go or quit right away with the application process if the time zone is not working,
if the pay is not working, or if the process is not fitting to what they expected.
I'm sharing this one because there's really a big advantage and a lot of
opportunities when you are a freelancer, and all you need is usually that one
client that will verify that you can be productive and can give the right output.
This is why, when you have the chance, don't be so choosy or so finicky, or so
"Maarte."
When it comes to hiring opportunities, make sure that you are really aligned
to what the client needs. Be client-centric; treat them as your customers. So you
need to be able to have a mindset of customer satisfaction. You have to align to
what their needs are to make it easy for them. You are the one that is really in
need of a job, so you have to ensure that your skills, your work ethic, your
output, and even your availability is going to be fitting to their requirements.
Once you get past that! For sure, clients will be coming in because now you know
how to handle client relationships, even if it is still on the onboarding process, or
the shortlisting or during the hiring process.
I hope this is helpful!. Follow for more tips!
