Beehype is a small business based in Scotland with the ambition of bringing the
highest quality raw honey to the tables of families in the UK.

The co-founders are originally from Bulgaria, from where all their honey is imported. In
fact, Beehype is all about supporting small beekeepers from the Pristine regions where
the mild climate favors the production of an incredibly delicious honey ready to serve on
the table without the addition of any chemical to maintain it.
The impeccable quality of their product has been confirmed by the average 4.8 stars
rating they have earned on TrustPilot.
Their honey packages come with different and creative flavors that look delicious at
the look. All natural.

Their strength is undoubtedly the high customer retention due the quality of their
products, however, before contacting me, they struggled to expand the business
and to find a method to scale profitably and at pace.

They had tried Facebook ads previously but, since they are a food business, they
struggled to accomplish a significant ROI given that none of their products has a price
higher than $10.
Yes, they had packages that customers could buy to increase the AOV (Average Order
Value), but this didn’t make a significant difference.
So they reached out to me and we discussed the steps to executing a strategy that
would successfully enable them to overcome both of these challenges.
We began with market research and the analysis of our Buyer Personas.
At first, Beehype did not have a crystal-clear idea of who their customers were.
On paper, honey can be consumed by anyone.
However, we later discovered some segments in the market that the team at Beehype
didn’t consider originally and that turned out to be extremely valuable to Beehype.
We analyzed these market segments very carefully to find their habits, motivations, and
pain points.
The aim of this exercise was to expand the business by identifying new
opportunities in the market and serve customers of whom we would have never thought.
This work was then followed by a session entirely dedicated to Messaging that adapted
our communication strategy to our new target customers.
In the matter of 3 weeks, we actually had everything to get our Facebook ads up and
running.
But before getting started, we had to make sure the website was optimized to get the
highest number of conversions possible and increase the average size of the cart
(AOV).
We changed a few bits on the website to optimize it and inserted upsells at strategic
times of the customer journey.

Then it came the time for Facebook ads.
We built a thorough campaign structure and used a variety of ad creatives strategically
created to embed our messaging.
In little less than 2 months, we were able to scale these ads at a point where this
channel alone got the business a 200% increase in sales. Customers were rushing to
buy honey!
We made sure each of these customers were treated as they deserve and set up
some email marketing flows aimed at keeping a healthy relationship with them and
increasing their LTV.
