The Client
Get Going Canadian Car Loans is a company that specializes in generating car loan
and vehicle financial credit leads for local Car dealerships that are trying to offer this
type of service to their clients. This company has been in business for several years
and aldo it is offering its services all across Canada their main target area is British
Columbia and Alberta regions.
This company has a big team that is handling their Website development and
maintenance in addition to a professional team of graphic and UX designers.
The Challenge
This client has started generating leads on both PPC and Social and the biggest
problem that they have encountered was rapid scaling and growth. Selling leads
was something that they resolved before starting this project so now they needed to
resolve problem with generating leads as the demand for this product was by far
greater than they were able to fulfill.
Our job was to jump start their campaigns and to start spending as much money as
possible while generating leads at a cost that is profitable.

Our Approach
Search Campaigns
We did detailed keyword research and created a comprehensive base of keywords
that were used in our search campaigns. We created sets of campaigns for all service
types with both short and long tail keywords in all keyword modifiers. In order to
better track performance in the most important markets we created separate
campaigns for each market (British Columbia and Alberta).
To make sure that we have optimized our campaigns and budget to the max, we
created separate campaigns for each device with budgets dedicated to them. This
approach helped us allocate our funds to the best performing segment of our search
efforts.
Display Campaign
It was crucial to raise brand awareness since the people who are in our final funnel
step are the ones that are looking for our client by name. In order to do this, it was
necessary to create complicated audience lists that we targeted with both Gmail
and standard Display campaigns.
In addition to this we have focused on placements that have content that is closely
related to our clients business.
Working with the client on the quality of our Display advertising assets and the
quality of their offer for repeat customers was critical for this endeavor. We had to
constantly change and work on the offer in our ads in order to continue being
competitive.
As for the search campaigns we also segmented our display targeting campaigns.
We created separate campaigns for different devices and different locations. This
helped us get a better understanding on what was working and what was not.

Key Stats
When we started working with this client they were spending around CA$1500 on
their AdWords campaigns and had just a few conversions. With the new approach
that we have taken and by moving our efforts more to display targeting campaigns
we were able to get extraordinary results in a very short time. This client never had
an issue with allocating high enough budget, the issue was how and where to get
high quality traffic.
We were able to bring the spending up to CA$30000 and we were able to generate
around 500 conversions in one month.
The increase of total AdWords Spend for: 1 900%
The cost per conversion dropped from CA$353 per conversion to less than CA$60 per
conversion.
The decrease in Cost Per Conversion for: 506%
