2020 Talent Reviews* for M1 Managers +
What’s happening
In response to our commitment to internal mobility,
we have extended our talent review process this
year to over 20,000 employees globally. We want
to find out more about our employees, their career
aspirations and leadership capabilities, to enable us
to match talent to internal opportunities.
Talent reviews are one of the key ways that we do this
as an organization. It is annual process, and you as
manager play a key role in the process.
Talent Review kicked off on May 4th, where all
employees in scope were asked to complete their
talent profile in Workday. This includes you too!
The talent profile asks everyone to outline their
ambitions, aspirations, skills and preferences.
Managers will have an opportunity to view their
profiles, and complete a manager assessment for all
those in ‘scope.’ from May 18th to June 12th.
What we need from you as a manager
•
If you haven’t already completed your own Talent Review, please do complete by May 29th. You can
access the invite through your Workday inbox
•
Please ask your teams to fill out their talent profiles on Workday and encourage them that even
during the pandemic, their career matters at JLL. Check out our step-by-step guide
•
As a manager, you will be asked to review your employee’s profile in Workday from May 18th to
12th June. This too will come through your Workday inbox. This will give you an opportunity to know
your team’s aspirations, skills and career preferences.

Covid19 JLL Pulse Survey
What’s happening
During this challenging time, we want to hear from
everyone about how they are feeling and identify
ways that we can best support our people going
forward. So we have decided to issue a special
survey to all employees, as a one-off.
•
All JLL employees are invited to complete a
survey between May 12th – May 26th
•
The JLL People Survey will enable us to:
–Find out more about how our employees
experience, during Covid19.
–Identify areas that we as an organization
can do more of to support our employees
and businesses during Covid19
–Determine how to best support our
employees with re-entry processes
–Regional and cluster reports will be
available to GEB-1 leaders from 3rd June to
provide us with insights and information to
plan and respond.
What we need from you as a manager
•
Make sure you speak to your teams about the survey: Explain what it is, why it is important,
and encourage everyone to take part
•
Make sure you complete the survey when you are invited to.

Keeping Finances Moving
What’s happening
With more people working reduced hours or
taking time off this month and beyond, we need
to make sure we delegate approvals for expenses,
supplier invoices and billing so nothing gets stuck
in the system.
It is important – especially as we monitor the
impact of Covid-19 on JLL’s finances – to have up
to date financial information.
What we need from you as a manager
•
Check or set your delegated approvals for expenses and supplier invoices. If you, or anyone in
your team, approves client billing please make sure they do the same
•
Delegating is easy to do there are full instructions on the PeopleSoft 9.2 Connect site.

Office – Re-entry
What’s happening
Gradually, and carefully, we will be re-opening offices
across EMEA during May and June, as and when
government guidelines allow.
Office capacity will generally be 20-30%, and it will
signal a new phase for JLL as we start the road to
business recovery and finding our new normal.
This re-entry process is likely to bring with it the need
for more readjustments and new ways of working,
and as managers your role is vital to making this
transition a success.
What we need from you as a manager
•
Engage with your local HR and leadership teams process for office re-entry
•
Reassure your team members that their health and safety is the most important thing in all we
are doing, and that working from the office is voluntary in these early stages
•
Encourage honest conversations with your team members to understand their thoughts and
feelings on re-entry
•
Think about how you might continue to lead your team as they rotate between home and
office, and talk to your HRBP about any support you need
•
Join one of our webinars to understand more about [our re-entry approach].
