GOOD MANNERS
Once upon a time, there were three friends: Wella, Bella, and Della. Wella is four years old, while Bella and Della are five and six, respectively. They all seem to like themselves. They arrived early in school and everywhere seemed tidy. Their school cleaner came by, singing and dancing as she swept. As everywhere was already so clean, the group of friends found it interesting how the cleaner worked so joyfully and early in the morning.
They had a great time making fun of her, but Bella did not join them. Instead, she was telling her friends to respect the woman. Bella went to meet the cleaner and appreciated her for making the surroundings look beautiful.
The cleaner was happy hearing that and thanked Bella for appreciating her. They were given assignments in school, but only Bella did hers. Wella and Della were so arrogant and lazy. They were always fond of not doing their assignment. Back home, Bella is very kind, responsible, and respectful, always making her parents proud. The following morning in school, Bella went to greet the cleaner. Good morning ma said Bella. The cleaner answered, good morning Bella. Bella wished the cleaner a pleasant day. The cleaner appreciates Bella for her good character.
Meanwhile, Wella and Della were always being rude to their colleagues. Almost all pupils in the class do complain about their arrogant attitude. One day, their teacher seemed to have enough of their rude attitude. She called them to change their attitude. Their teacher said,” if you want people to respect you, you must stop being rude and arrogant to your colleagues. Bella, on the other side, was being praised by her colleagues. One of her classmates said,” I have always known Bella to be a cool and nice girl.
Mostly everybody in the school was aware of the kind nature of Bella, especially the cleaner, at the end of the first-term academic session. Bella came out top of her class. Her teacher was happy for her for being a responsible and hardworking girl. Bella was rewarded with a scholarship and given an award for being the most well-behaved student in the school. Wella said,” have you heard of the scholarship and award given to Bella? Della answered,” I have. Bella seems loved by everyone, but this is not our case. Honestly, Bella is a very nice and calm girl.
Something must be wrong with us. We must change our attitude if we want people to love us too. This made me know that one attitude and not one aptitude will take one to his altitude. Wow, your statement is so powerful. I promise to turn a new leaf and behave myself. I will, too, say,’ Della. Bella has become a good example to everyone in the school because of her good manners.
