BE COMPASSIONATE TO THOSE IN NEED It has been a fun week with God taking the girls on various adventures and doing great works through them, but none of the girls anticipated the week would end with them ducking from monkeys swinging from tree to tree with mangoes on their hands. They were in the Limpopo province in South America and never knew the samango monkeys had organized a welcome party. They managed to get out of there and went somewhere quieter. They were glad the trees in the forest provided shade to them. They walked for a while before sitting to rest. "Help me," they heard a little groan from afar. "Did you hear that?" Joy asked, sitting up "Yes, I did. Let's go check it out," Love said Both sprinted to the noisy location and saw a young child with bleeding feet. "Oh my, are you alright," Love asked as she tried to help her. "I think she's trapped," Joy said They looked around and finally found a stick that they used to help her escape the trap. "Ahhh," she screamed in pain. "Calm down, ok. I know it hurts, but it's going to get better ok," Love said They saw a first-aid kit lying around. "Is this yours?" Joy asked "Yes, my parents brought it along," she replied. They quickly helped her to treat the injury and clean it up. Thankfully it was not that bad, as the trap could not injure her leg very well because of the shoe she was putting on. " I'm Love, and this is my sister Joy, " Love introduced, starting a conversation. " I'm Manuela," she replied "And thanks for coming to my rescue," she appreciated with a smile. "It's our pleasure," Joy and Love chorused. "Where are your parents," Joy asked curiously "They went to fetch wood. We came here for a picnic, and we hoped to set a camp over there," she pointed at an open space. "But they asked me to wait here, and after a while, I saw a bird. I just wanted to say hi because it was very cute. I never knew there was a trap there," "Yes, and it seemed rusted like it has been there for a long time," Love observed. Just then, her parents came with a bundle of wood. "Oh my goodness, what happened to you?" her mother asked immediately after she saw her plastered leg. "She fell into a trap, but she's ok now. We administered first aid already," Love said "Are you ok, hun," get dad asked, checking her legs. " Yes, dad, I am, "she said " Thank you so much for showing compassion to my daughter when she was in need, " Manuela's mother said " It's nothing, ma, " Joy said " Would you mind joining us for the picnic?
