I want to write a happy poem I want to write a poem filled with joy About the weather or about falling in love I want to write a poem that's so sweet But my happy moments were simply not happy enough The weather was gloomy and didn't raise my musing And Eros made my love life complicated, existing but hard to reach Definitely cupid wasn't on my side, I don't know if he has ever been This made me smile though I want to write an elevating poem The kind you read when you have had a stressful day The kind that made you bighearted and tenderhearted A poem to evoke sweet thoughts A poem that said what you want and need to hear But the poem collided with my emotions It crashed so dangerously Even though I put my all My happiness and joy It just wasn't enough I guess it just happens 2 I write poems that tells you it's okay to be sad sometimes A poem that reminds you that Happiness is not an everyday thing.
