ENTRY: Nationals of Nigeria can obtain
an e-visa before departure at
https://ehome.dha.gov.za/epermit . They
must arrive at Cape Town (CPT), Durban
(DUR) or Johannesburg (JNB)
Your passport must have an ‘expiry
date’ at least 30 days after the date
you leave South Africa and have at
least 2 blank pages
EXIT: Health test from
approved facilit required no
earlier than 1 day prior to
departure.

Visits to people’s houses are usually pre-arranged in
South Africa, but unannounced visits from good friends
or relatives are also common.sts are expected to greet
everyone respectfully and immediately upon arrival.
Respect your hosts’ privacy and do not
explore their house unless invited to. Wait
to be led into a new room by someone
senior.
South Africans often use the phrases ‘now-now’
or ‘just now’. ‘Now-now’ refers to doing
something shortly, whereas ‘just now’ means to
do something in the near future, but not
immediately.
