‫رئيس الغرفة يناقش الفرص االستثمارية مع‬ ‫القنصلية اليونانية‬ ‫مكة المكرمة‪ -‬تجارة مكة‬ ‫زار ماهر بن صالح جمال رئيس مجلس إدارة‬ ‫الغرفة التجارية الصناعية بمكة المكرمة وأعضاء‬ ‫مجلس إدارة الغرفة‪ ،‬مقر القنصلية العامة اليونانية في‬ ‫جدة‪ ،‬وذلك من أجل تعزيز الدور التجاري‪ ،‬واالطالع‬ ‫على الفرص االستثمارية والتسهيالت التي تقدمها‬ ‫حكومة اليونان للمستثمرين السعوديين‪.‬‬ ‫وخالل اللقاء استعرض كل من القنصل العام اليوناني‬ ‫خرونيس بوليخرونيو‪ ،‬والتيودورس إكسيبولياس‬ ‫قنصل الشؤون التجارية واالقتصادية‪ ،‬عدد من‬ ‫الموضوعات المهمة مع أعضاء الغرفة‪ ،‬وسبل‬ ‫تعزيز العالقات ومجاالت التعاون الثنائي‪.‬‬ ‫وناقش الجانبان وسائل تنمية وتوسيع نطاق التعاون‬ ‫في مختلف األصعدة والمجاالت‪ ،‬كما جرى مناقشة‬ ‫توجه مجلس الغرف السعودية نحو تنظيم وفد من‬ ‫رجال األعمال السعوديين لزيارة جمهورية اليونان‬ ‫خالل الفترة من ‪ 18 – 14‬يونيو ‪ ،2014‬بهدف‬ ‫تعزيز وتنمية العالقات التجارية واالستثمارية بين‬ ‫البلدين وعقد لقاءات ثنائية بين المستثمرين السعوديين‬ ‫مع نظرائهم اليونانيين‪.‬‬ ‫من جهته أبان قنصل الشؤون التجارية واالقتصادية‬ ‫تيودورس إكسيبولياس أن وفدا من المنظمة اليونانية‬ ‫للتجارة واالستثمار يشمل أربعة قطاعات‪ :‬التغذية‪،‬‬ ‫الطاقة‪ ،‬العقارات والسياحة سوف يزور مدينة جدة‬ ‫والرياض في مطلع شهر نوفمبر من العام الحالي‪،‬‬ ‫مفيدا أن الترتيب لزيارة هذا الوفد مازال في طور‬ ‫اإلعداد‪ ،‬الفتا إلى اهتمام المنظمة بالفرص‬ ‫االستثمارية المتاحة بالشرق األوسط والمملكة العربية‬ ‫والسعودية بالتحديد‪.‬‬ ‫ودعا إلى توفير مساحة إعالنية للقنصلية عبر موقع‬ ‫الغرفة لنشر بيانات ومعلومات عن الفرص‬ ‫االستثمارية التي من المفترض أن تكون متوافرة لكل‬ ‫زوار الموقع‪ ،‬وأفاد أن حكومة بالده تعمل حاليا على‬ ‫توفير تسهيالت كبيرة أمام المستثمرين‪ ،‬منها توفر‬ ‫رحالت مباشرة من جدة إلى أثينا للمسافرين‪ ،‬وأحقية‬ ‫اإلقامة لمدة ‪ 5‬سنوات لمستثمري العقار الذين تجاوز‬ ‫استثماراتهم ‪ 250‬ألف يورو في اليونان‪.‬‬ ‫‪Chairman of Chamber‬‬ ‫‪Discusses‬‬ ‫‪investment opportunities with the‬‬ ‫‪Greek Consulate‬‬ ‫‪Makkah-Makkah Trade‬‬ ‫‪Maher Bin Saleh Jamal, Chairman of‬‬ ‫‪the Chamber of Commerce and Industry‬‬ ‫‪in Makkah and the Board Members‬‬ ‫‪visited the Greek General Consulate in‬‬ ‫‪Jeddah, in order to strengthen the role of‬‬ ‫‪trade and look into investment‬‬ ‫‪opportunities and facilities provided by‬‬ ‫‪the Government of Greece to Saudi‬‬ ‫‪investors.‬‬ ‫‪During the meeting, both the Greek‬‬ ‫‪General Consul Chronis Ploychroniou‬‬ ‫‪and Theodoros Xypolias , Consul of‬‬ ‫‪Trade and Economic Affairs, reviewed a‬‬ ‫‪number of important topics with‬‬ ‫‪Chamber members, and ways to‬‬ ‫‪enhance‬‬ ‫‪bilateral‬‬ ‫‪relations‬‬ ‫‪and‬‬ ‫‪cooperation.‬‬ ‫‪The two sides discussed means of‬‬ ‫‪developing and expanding cooperation‬‬ ‫‪in various levels and fields, and discuss‬‬ ‫‪the approach of the Council of Saudi‬‬ ‫‪Chambers about organizing a delegation‬‬ ‫‪of Saudi Businessmen to visit the‬‬ ‫‪Republic of Greece during the period‬‬ ‫‪from 14 - 18 June 2014, for the purpose‬‬ ‫‪of enhancing and developing trade and‬‬ ‫‪investment relations between the two‬‬ ،‬والتي‬ ‫شهدت استثمارات مشتركة ولكنها لم ترق بعد إلى‬ ‫مستوى الطموح لديهم‪ ،‬الفتا ألن حجم االستثمارات‬ ‫بين البلدين لم يجاوز ‪ 3‬مليارات دوالر وفقا‬ ‫إلحصائية ‪ 2013‬واألفضلية في ميزان التبادل تميل‬ حكومة بالدي ألتمكن بعد ذلك من‬ ‫مخاطبة مجلس الغرف السعودية حيال إمكانية وجود‬ ‫التسهيالت لمنح التأشيرات لرجال أعمال بالده‬ ‫لدخول األراضي السعودية‪".‬‬ ‫وأبان القنصل العام الماليزي أنه سيطرح فكرة‬ ‫التنسيق المشترك بين الغرف التجارية ومجلس‬ ‫الغرف لحصول رجال أعمال بالده الجادين على‬ ‫التأشيرة لزيارة المملكة دون عوائق‪ ،‬وذلك بعد‬ ‫التنسيق الكامل مع الجهات المعنية في البلدين‪.‬‬ ‫ثقة في إجراءات المملكة ضد كورونا‬ ‫وأكد القنصل العام بأن الحكومة السعودية عملت‬ ‫جميع ما يلزم للحد من انتشار فايروس كورونا‬ ‫ووضعه تحت السيطرة‪ ،‬مبينا أنهم يترقبون انتهاء‬ ‫المشاريع الخاصة بتطوير الحرم المكي الشريف‬ ‫إلعادة رفع سقف أعداد حجاج بلدهم إلى ‪ 28‬ألف‬ ‫حاج‪ ،‬خاصة بعد انخفضت األعداد بنسبة ‪ 20‬في‬ ‫المائة حسب توجيهات الحكومية السعودية‪ ،‬والتي‬ ‫تقدر في الوقت الحالي بنحو ‪ 22.3‬ألف حاج‪.‬‬ ‫وقال‪" :‬لن تتأثر أعداد حجاج بالدنا بسبب وجود هذا‬ ‫الفايروس‪ ،‬وقد قمنا بعمل بعض الدراسات الخاصة‬ ‫بنا‪ ،‬والتي على أثرها أقرينا تقديم مقترح لهيئة الحج‬ ‫الماليزية بتجنيب الحجاج كبار السن ممن تجاوزت‬ ‫أعمارهم ‪ 65‬عاما‪ ،‬وكذلك األطفال‪ ،‬من الحج في هذا‬ ‫العام‪ ،‬وإتاحة الفرصة للراغبين في الحج من الفئات‬ ‫السنية األخرى‪.‬‬ ‫زيارتكم ثمرة جهودنا‬ ‫من جهته قال سعد بن جميل القرشي عضو مجلس‬ Qurashi disclosed that the Chamber of Makkah started working on creating a database of all licensed and classified catering companies, around 143 companies, that their capitals exceeded 200 million riyals. Noting that the project that will take 45 days to implement, will be able to limit the statutory companies only, excluding unclassified companies of environmental health in the Holy Makkah Municipality, assuring that the Chamber compels companies wishing to provide services for Hajj missions to obtain the necessary certifications. Qurashi said “we do not compel the Hajj missions to contact us for catering services, but we, at the Chamber, put ourselves as a choice for high quality services. We are also working on providing this service free of charge as one of the Chamber responsibilities towards the pilgrims first, then to do justice to companies licensed against companies that operate illegally. This came after meeting with member of Makkah Chamber, Dr. Mazen Bin Fuad Tunesi and member of the Chamber, Hisham Bin Abdulaziz Al Sayyed The visit paved the way for a joint meeting that gathered businessmen from both sides and was hosted at the Chamber of Makkah and attended by the General Consul of the Republic of Bangladesh, where Chairman of Chamber of Commerce in Chitagong in Bangladesh and his delegation of businessmen met Saudi investors. Following the meeting, a joint press conference was held. Mohammed Najmul Islam, General Consul of the Republic of Bangladesh in Jeddah stated that his country has prepared a list of electronic data available online, with more than two million names of laborers who completed their training in sixty-four centers distributed across the provinces of his country. And about the volume of trade between Saudi Arabia and his country, he stated that the volume of exchange is about 214 million dollars, according to last year statistics, and he said that the aim of these mutual visits is to increase the volume of trade exchange and create joint investment opportunities between businessmen of the two countries. The Indonesian side is eager to increase its exports to the Kingdom while the Chamber of Makkah looks forward to expanding Saudi investment in Indonesia and strengthening the connection with the country that has the largest population of Muslims, and huge number of visitors to the sacred country. The Indonesian General Consul in Jeddah, Dharmakirty Syailendra cleared that his country is tending to market their foodstuff in the Kingdom through several exhibitions planned to be held in the coming period through its Consulate in Jeddah, in order to support its effort to lift up its non-oil exports to the Middle East in General, and Saudi Arabia in particular, and looking forward to concluding partnerships and investment programs with traders and investors in the sector of food products for the food security of the two countries. Syailendra stated that the food products in his country is one of the most important exports, it ranks sixth in nonoil exports, and more than 2 million tons a year, the Middle East portion is 45%, 35% of which up to the Kingdom. Syailendra declared that his Consulate is working to promote Indonesian competitive products in terms of quality and taste across the world, particularly in Saudi Arabia, to which a large number of Indonesians turn to perform rituals of Hajj and Umrah apart from the large numbers of residents who want to get the products of their country. Syailendra estimated the volume of nonoil exports of his country beyond 1.77 billion dollars; Indonesia wishes to increase that number in the coming years, depending on different types of sources, especially agricultural crops. An agreement on the situation of the Indonesian employment The Indonesian Consul commented on the accuracy of the news about an agreement with Saudi Arabia on the return of domestic employment recruitment that meetings between Indonesian Minister of labor, and Saudi Minister of labor in this regard. After the visit, member of the Chamber Board, Dr. Mazen Fuad Tunsi held a meeting that was attended by members Board, Hassan Kansara and Marwan Shaaban and a number of merchants, during which, the delegation was informed about the plans and services provided by the Chamber to its members and the prepared development programs. Dr. Tunesi declared that the delegation was briefed on the programs prepared by the Chamber to strengthen relations and the supporting and backing programs to raise the volume of trade exchange with Islamic countries, noting that Makkah, through its Chamber of Commerce and Industry is keen on economic cooperation in commercial and industrial fields with everyone, clearing that indicators showed an upward rise in trade between the two countries during the recent period, which underlines the confidence of both parties in dealing with each other. Dr. Tunisian cleared that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Makkah is eager to offer its services to its members as it is keen to offer these services in distinctive ways to serve business, indicating that there is a new program recently launched called "Service Communication Program " that includes the creation of relations and communication with all sectors, attaches and trade delegations to serve the community of Makkah in general and the Economic in particular. From his side, General Director of the Commercial Islamic Gulf Indian Chamber, Mr. Mohammed Daoud Khan said that his visit to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Makkah comes within a series of visits to the Saudi Chambers to activate cooperation with them, pointing out that there are many projects that were presented and discussed, most notably health, education, technical and industrial in addition to discussing Indian employment issues and halal slaughter certificates. At the end of the visit, Khan invited to visit India and see the projects and investment opportunities.
