1. Introduction
The focus on work that is being carried out with the people who use services like in the health and social care sector. It is focused on professional support and learning of the task professionally. It enables the learner to get the skills professionally done with the issuance of a license and certification. In this article, professional supervision will be discussed further proceeding with theoretical approaches, and will also discuss the evaluation on professional approach and conclusion based on the evaluation.
2. Professional supervision
According to [ CITATION Rat21 \l 1033 ], professional supervision can be defined as a positive and enabling the process of making the supervisor and the employee together to make and reflect on the practices of work. In terms of professional supervision, which is a big part for the performance of an individual and it can be initiated by the communication between a supervisor and the social care workers to reflect on the practices. the professional also sets the target and measuring the performance based on performance indicators.
3. Theoretical approaches
According to [ CITATION Kho21 \l 1033 ], the study of professional supervision is based on the psychoanalytic supervisees' conceptualization of professional supervision. The author (Khoshfetrat, Moore, & Kiernan, 2021), analyzed the strategy and approach to professional supervision based on interpretive phenomenological analysis and it is also based on the interview which is analyzed in the report.
In the context of [ CITATION Har20 \l 1033 ], reported conveniently to focus on the training program supporting the supervisors in the community of public service organizations. The major implications on the professional supervisions are:
They are more responsive culturally for the staff and social work practices.
They are acknowledging the professional approach for supervisory of the staffs and social workers practices with the culture and community.
They also need to effectively use the supervision cultural model to support the staff.
4. Evaluation of theoretical approaches
According to [ CITATION Dav17 \l 1033 ], the evaluation of professional supervision has been in focus for years. In the given report for the evaluation of the professional supervision, the authors (Davys, O'Connell, May, & Burns, 2017), has taken the experienced practitioners from four professions. These four professionals are mental health nursing, counseling, social work, and psychological professionals were interviewed by the author. From the conducted interview of the professional supervisors, the findings indicated that evaluations cannot reflect an organizational culture or evaluation that is formal.
This evaluation is fully focused on the process rather than outcomes. These things concerned include a lack of evaluation to harm the supervisor relationship and the importance of maintaining the boundaries of confidentiality, contributing to the possible use of information that is being gathered.
5. Conclusion
The study of professional supervision, in the field of health and social care sector, allows the staff in training to access the knowledge and goals. It is taken as a professional way to conduct the supervision. It is already taught that the model's supervisor uses to help the trainee to understand the situation and client. During the process of supervision, it is used to evaluate that who is sufficient to provide experienced services to the public for health and social care. It has been done for obtaining the certification and license for facilitation on the skills.
