Are you curious about how some YouTube videos rank on page one while others disappear completely?
Do you want hands-on experience understanding how the YouTube algorithm works and how search-driven content generates inbound leads?
If you’re interested in learning YouTube SEO through live execution — not theory — this internship will give you practical exposure to ranking strategy, metadata optimisation, and algorithm-driven performance.
We are hiring a YouTube SEO Intern to support the optimisation and ranking of video content across multiple channels within the Pearl Lemon ecosystem.
This is a performance-focused, analytical role. It is not related to video editing or thumbnail design. Your focus will be on improving search visibility, watch time, engagement metrics, and discoverability.
Pearl Lemon Group operates across digital marketing, sales, PR, accounting, consultancy, recruitment, game development, and food & beverage.
We are a UK-registered company (Company No. 10411490) headquartered in London EC1V 2NX. Our 100+ team works remotely across the UK, USA, Spain, Egypt, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, and more.
We operate with the speed of a startup while maintaining structured systems and measurable performance standards. Our founder, Deepak Shukla, is an ex-Deloitte consultant, ultramarathon runner, and 3× TEDx speaker known for building companies quickly and developing talent even faster.
If you value ownership, transparency, and continuous learning, you will thrive here.
Your objective will be to improve the search visibility and ranking performance of YouTube videos through structured optimisation.
Responsibilities include:
This role is data-driven and requires attention to detail and analytical thinking.
You will work on live channels and see measurable ranking results.
Many interns report gaining more practical knowledge here in 3 months than during years of academic study.
This is not a creative production role. It is structured, analytical, and performance-based.
To proceed:
As part of the form, you must submit a Loom video that is at least 5 minutes long.
Applications without a Loom video, or with videos under 5 minutes, will not be reviewed.
Your application will only be considered once both steps are completed.
