Role Overview
YouTube Growth Specialist Virtual Assistant who understands how the YouTube algorithm works and can help increase views, watch time, search rankings, click-through rate (CTR), and subscriber growth.
This is not a basic upload role. The ideal candidate should know how to optimize videos for discovery and long-term channel growth.
Responsibilities
Conduct YouTube keyword research using tools such as TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or similar.
Create SEO-optimized video titles, descriptions, and tags.
Write compelling video hooks, timestamps, and chapter titles.
Optimize thumbnails, CTR, and metadata based on analytics.
Research trending topics and competitor channels.
Improve YouTube search ranking and Suggested Videos performance.
Analyze YouTube Analytics (CTR, audience retention, watch time, impressions, traffic sources).
Recommend content strategies to increase subscribers and engagement.
Maintain a content calendar and publishing workflow.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of YouTube and channel growth strategies.
Familiarity with YouTube Studio Analytics.
Ability to identify high-volume / low-competition keywords.
Understanding of watch-time optimization, retention curves, and thumbnail psychology.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven examples of channels you have helped grow.
Understanding of YouTube Shorts + long-form content strategy.
Ability to provide monthly growth reports and actionable recommendations.
