We have a custom multi-step checkout page built on a BeTheme child theme (no WooCommerce). The page is used for multiple products/equipment rental plans, one specific plan (Bundle ID + Sublink/Link ID ) has serious user confusion issues.
Current problems (only for this one plan):
- Blue “Checkout” bar shows only per-day or flat amount → users don’t see full total. Have the sum in the blue Checkout bar be the Sum total of the order, not sum per day. do computation logic. (no. of days x rate per day per qty of equipment)
- Add text inside a specific plan (Bundle ID + Sublink/Link ID ) to notify clients how the plan works.
Goal
Fix the Bundle ID / Link ID — without breaking any other plans (monthly, Europe, student, etc.). YOUR CODE MUST NOT BREAK OTHER PLANS.
Must-have requirements
- Have strong experience with custom WordPress checkout flows (no WooCommerce)
- Understand how to isolate changes using conditionals (bundle ID + link ID checks)
- Can work safely in a child theme without breaking other plans
Deliverables
- Updated child theme files (diff/patch or full files)
- Clear explanation of what was changed and why it won’t affect other plans
- Before/after screenshots or short Loom video showing the fixed behavior
- No global changes to labels, totals, or flow for other plans
- Fixes to be implemented inside the Child Theme only. Staging environment details will be given
- Add dynamic total calculation (days × daily rate × number of devices) visible in checkout
- Add text inside a specific plan (Bundle ID + Sublink/Link ID ) to notify clients how the plan works.
Budget & Timeline
- Budget: $100.00
- Timeline: 2-4 Hours
- We will provide staging access
