Web Design & Content Creator hourly

BlueClerk HQ: Austin, TX, United States Remote job Oct 7

BlueClerk is a modern SaaS platform built for the housing industry, connecting builders and contractors to streamline job management, communication, and documentation. Our platform helps eliminate costly miscommunication and delays between builders and service providers by creating one shared system for tickets, scheduling, and progress tracking.

We are seeking a professional website designer with proven SaaS experience to design a conversion-focused homepage that clearly explains what BlueClerk does within seconds of landing on the site. The homepage will serve as the first impression for builders, contractors, and potential investors — it must immediately convey trust, innovation, and clarity.

The homepage must:

  • Clearly communicate BlueClerk’s purpose: Connecting Builders and Contractors
  • Present a clean, modern SaaS design that looks professional, polished, and trustworthy
  • Direct users instantly to paths for Builders and Contractors
  • Highlight how BlueClerk solves key pain points such as disorganization, lost communication, and manual data entry
  • Include calls to action that encourage demo sign-ups and contact form submissions
  • Be built with SEO best practices and mobile responsiveness in mind

We will use a Figma template as the foundation for this project, and the designer will customize it to align with the BlueClerk brand identity, structure, and tone.

  • Clean, crisp, and modern SaaS feel — similar to products like ClickUp, Jobber, ServiceTitan, and Monday.com
  • Simple and intuitive — users should know what to do next without scrolling too far
  • Focused on usability and visual clarity rather than flashy animations
  • Professional color palette and typography consistent with BlueClerk’s branding
  • Optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile

This project will be executed entirely in Figma. The designer must:

  • Be proficient in Figma with experience creating organized, component-driven files
  • Use auto-layouts, responsive frames, and reusable styles for easy handoff
  • Be comfortable collaborating via Figma comments and periodic check-ins with the BlueClerk team
  • Provide final deliverables ready for development in a Next.js/React environment

You must have hands-on experience designing SaaS product websites — not just generic business or WordPress sites. You should understand:

  • How to visually communicate a SaaS product’s value quickly
  • How to structure pages that lead to signups or conversions
  • The user psychology behind SaaS purchasing decisions
  • How to balance clean design with technical clarity

Applicants must show examples of successful website projects that have demonstrated measurable growth in traffic, engagement, or conversions.

  • Include at least 3 examples of live SaaS or technology websites you’ve designed.
  • If available, share data or case studies showing improvements in traffic, signups, or bounce rates.
  • Provide direct URLs — screenshots alone are not enough.

⚠️ If no examples are submitted, the application will be automatically denied.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO HELP GUIDE THIS PROJECT.

WE ARE NOT GOING TO WORK WITH SOMEONE THAT WE HAVE TO SPEND 100 HOURS WITH BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT DONE THIS BEFORE.

We need a professional who has built successful SaaS homepages and can lead the process, make smart recommendations, and move the project forward with minimal handholding. You should be able to take direction, interpret our brand goals, and execute efficiently.

  • Homepage design in Figma (desktop + mobile)
  • Style guide (color palette, typography, reusable components)
  • Organized, developer-ready Figma file suitable for Next.js/React integration
  • Two rounds of revisions based on BlueClerk feedback
  • Experienced in SaaS product design and digital marketing
  • Proficient in Figma and UX/UI strategy
  • Has a portfolio with measurable results from past work
  • Communicates clearly and responds quickly
  • Capable of taking creative direction and executing without micromanagement
  • Familiar with layout structures used in successful startup landing pages
