We're hiring a production-ready Backend Developer to work on a live SaaS platform. This role is for engineers with real experience shipping, maintaining, and scaling backend systems — not tutorial or greenfield-only projects.
What you will do:
- Build and maintain REST APIs using FastAPI or Django
- Manage PostgreSQL schemas and migrations on live data
- Implement auth systems (JWT, OAuth2, sessions)
- Integrate third-party services (payments, email, cloud APIs)
- Debug and optimize production performance and reliability
- Deploy and maintain backend services (Docker, Gunicorn, Nginx, cloud)
Required:
- 3+ years backend experience with Python
- Strong FastAPI or Django production experience
- PostgreSQL + safe migration experience (Alembic/Django migrations)
- Experience deploying and running backend services in production
- AWS experience (S3, SQS, RDS, Lambda)
- ETL pipelines – data extraction, cleaning, and processing in Python
- Cron jobs and task scheduling (cron, Celery, or similar)
- Comfortable working on existing SaaS systems with real users
- Team experience using Git and Agile workflows
Nice to have:
- SaaS product experience
- CI/CD pipelines
- AWS SES, CloudWatch, or additional AWS services
- Monitoring/logging tools (Sentry, CloudWatch)
