We are hiring a Virtual Legal Secretary to provide remote support to attorneys and legal teams across a variety of practice areas. This position is ideal for a tech-savvy legal professional who is highly organized, responsive, and experienced in managing legal tasks independently in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
Manage attorney calendars, schedule virtual meetings, and track deadlines
E-file documents with courts in multiple jurisdictions as needed
Maintain and organize electronic case files and document databases
Handle client communications via email, phone, and video conferencing
Assist with billing, time entry, and general administrative support
Coordinate signatures and document routing through platforms such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant
Prior experience working remotely in a legal setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PDF editing tools, and case management platforms (e.g., Clio, MyCase, Smokeball, NetDocuments)
Familiarity with court e-filing systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High-speed internet, reliable computer, and secure workspace
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and with discretion.
