VIDEO CLIPPER SHORT-FORM EDITOR hourly

Staff Direct is looking for a Video Clipper / Short-Form Video Editor to help create content for our own social media channels.

We are growing our online presence and are looking for someone who can turn our long-form video content into engaging short-form videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

As our Video Clipper, you will review our long-form content, independently find the most interesting and engaging moments, and turn them into short-form videos for Staff Direct's social media channels.

We are not looking for someone who only follows timestamps. You should be able to watch content yourself, recognize moments with potential, and decide how to turn them into engaging clips.

1. Watch and review Staff Direct's long-form video content.
2. Independently identify the best moments for short-form content.
3. Edit these moments into engaging TikToks, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
4. Add captions, cuts, zooms, and other edits where appropriate.
5. Create strong hooks and keep the videos engaging.
6. Understand what works on short-form social media platforms.
7. Deliver content consistently and communicate clearly with our team.

1. Some previous experience with video editing and short-form content.
2. A portfolio or examples of previous work.
3. A good understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
4. A good eye for identifying interesting moments in longer videos.
5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
6. Good communication skills in English.

USD $5 per hour.

Both part-time and full-time arrangements are possible.

This is a long-term position with a minimum commitment of 3 months.

We are looking for someone who can stay with us longer if the collaboration works well.

This is a fully remote position and applications are welcome from anywhere in the world.

Staff Direct operates from the Netherlands. Our primary business timezone is Central European Time, CET/CEST.
