We are a retreat venue based in County Donegal, and we're looking for a skilled and reliable virtual assistant to support our business with various tasks. Ideally, you have experience working with wellness, retreat, or holistic businesses and can bring that insight into the role.

This position is perfect for someone who is highly organized, proactive and comfortable working across a variety of platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Management:
  • Content creation, planning, and scheduling for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Engaging with followers, responding to comments/messages.
  • Analyzing performance and providing weekly reports on social engagement.

Estimated Time: 4-6 hours/week

  1. Listings Optimization:
  • Review and optimize our existing Airbnb and Booking.com listings.
  • Update photos, descriptions, and keywords to ensure maximum visibility.
  • Monitor performance and suggest improvements.

Estimated Time: 4 hours initially, 1 hour/week ongoing

  1. Corporate Research & Outreach:
  • Research companies that send employees to County Donegal and identify potential accommodation opportunities.
  • Find key decision-makers (HR, Travel Managers) and develop outreach strategies via email or LinkedIn.
  • Manage follow-up communication and track responses.

Estimated Time: 10 hours initially for research, 2-3 hours/week for outreach and follow-ups

  1. Website Updates:
  • Regularly update our website with blog posts, event details, and fresh content.
  • Ensure all website content is aligned with the brand's tone and style.

Estimated Time: 1 hour/week

  1. General Administrative Support:
  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks such as managing emails, responding to customer inquiries, and other relevant duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, preferably within the tourism, retreat, wellness, or holistic industries.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong experience with social media management tools
  • Experience with listing platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com.
  • Familiarity with website platforms for content updates.
  • Research skills and the ability to identify and contact corporate decision-makers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
