We are seeking a Social Media Specialist with at least two years of corporate experience in managing organic social media. This role requires a self-starter who can create, write, and schedule content while ensuring consistent brand messaging. You will be responsible for building engagement, growing our online presence, and analyzing performance metrics to refine strategies.
Additionally, you will support personal branding efforts for key stakeholders and department leads by developing and executing tailored content strategies.
- Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with marketing goals.
- Write engaging and brand-aligned copy for social media posts across platforms.
- Design basic graphics using Canva and optimize visuals for social media.
- Manage and schedule content using Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite.
- Create and execute personal branding campaigns for stakeholders and department leads.
- Strategize content to internally promote personal branding efforts and position leaders as industry experts.
- Monitor audience engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community growth.
- Track key performance metrics and prepare reports with actionable insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends and social media best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align social media strategies with company goals.
- 2+ years of corporate experience in social media management (B2B/B2C preferred).
- Strong understanding of organic social media growth strategies.
- Experience in personal branding and thought leadership content creation.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling, engaging content.
- Proficiency in Canva for creating social media visuals.
- Hands-on experience with Hootsuite, Buffer, and Meta Business Suite.
- Strong analytical skills to assess performance and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- A creative mindset with attention to detail and brand consistency.
- Experience with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Basic knowledge of SEO for social media optimization.
