The Role:

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who knows their way around Wix and has a passion for news and online trends. This role is perfect for someone who’s quick on the keyboard, creative, and knows how to package stories that drive clicks, shares, and conversations.

Responsibilities:

• Source trending news and entertainment stories from various sites.
• Create original articles in Wix (formatting, images, SEO basics).
• Post the article links to our Facebook Page with catchy headlines and captions.
• Publish 5 articles per day, Monday – Friday (Eastern Standard Time schedule).
• Keep a consistent voice, aligned with the Zandiego brand.
• Monitor engagement and suggest ways to grow traffic and reach.

Requirements:

• Experience with Wix website editing.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Familiarity with Facebook publishing and social media best practices.
• Reliable and able to stick to a consistent posting schedule.
• Creative eye for trending topics and engaging content.

Nice to Have:

• Basic SEO knowledge.
• Experience with Canva or other design tools for simple graphics.
• Prior experience running social media pages or blogs.
