Shopify Theme Developer (Custom Theme Creation + Ongoing Design Work) full time

Job Description:

We’re a US-based creative marketing agency looking to hire a skilled Shopify developer with experience building custom Shopify themes from scratch. You will work alongside our team to develop a fully responsive and branded theme for our internal client use only. The theme must be modern, optimized for conversions, and tailored to the streetwear/eCommerce fashion niche.

We’re looking for someone who can:

• Build clean, lightweight, custom Shopify themes (not edits of existing ones)
• Work from reference themes, examples, and direction
• Build sections using Shopify 2.0 standards
• Integrate 3rd party apps cleanly with theme UX in mind
• Collaborate and make iterations if needed
• Deliver clean, mobile-optimized code
• Provide packaged ZIP file for external theme use (outside of Shopify Theme Store)

Bonus if you:

• Have experience with fashion/retail/eCommerce themes
• Can advise on conversion best practices
• Are fluent in modern CSS/JS/Liquid best practices

This is a freelance project, but we are open to ongoing work (landing pages, theme updates, site builds) if this project goes well.

You must be able to communicate during EST hours.
