Effeect is seeking a world-class SEO & Authority Lead to design and execute our domain authority climb taking our portfolio properties into the DA 80-100 range.
This is a senior, impact-driven role for someone who understands how to engineer authority through high-quality link-building, digital PR, and technical SEO alignment.
You’ll build and own an 18-month roadmap, drive execution, and ensure our link-building efforts are industry-leading in both quality and scale.
Key Responsibilities
Design the Authority Climb: Craft an 18-month roadmap with monthly domain authority, referring domain, and trust-flow milestones.
High-Impact Outreach: Secure 60–80 DR50+ backlinks per quarter through guest posting, HARO, journalist outreach, data-driven PR campaigns, and unlinked-brand mentions.
Create Linkable Assets: Brief and launch magnetic content pieces (original research, infographics, tools, data studies) designed to earn organic coverage.
Guard Link Quality: Run weekly backlink audits, toxicity checks, and manage disavows. Maintain natural anchor-text ratios to protect long-term trust.
Reporting & Iteration: Own the SEO authority dashboard. Analyze wins, losses, and ROI. Continuously refine outreach tactics for faster gains.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with content, dev, and growth teams to ensure authority-building efforts align with overall SEO and marketing goals.
Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years in SEO with a focus on link-building, authority growth, and digital PR.
Track Record: Demonstrated success in raising sites into DA 70+ territory.
