We are hiring a Senior Tech Lead to take end‑to‑end technical ownership across multiple systems, services, and integrations and to lead a growing engineering team. You will define and evolve an API‑first architecture, set engineering standards, and ensure reliable delivery across backend systems, third‑party integrations, and internal tooling.
- Evaluation Phase (Trial): 2 months (paid, full‑time)
- Compensation during Evaluation: $300 USD/month (40 hours/week)
- After successful evaluation: compensation will be reviewed and adjusted based on demonstrated impact, scope of ownership, and experience
- The evaluation phase is a mutual assessment. Strong performance may lead to an earlier compensation review.
- Own and evolve architecture across APIs, backend services, integrations, and system boundaries
- Lead and mentor developers; drive execution, prioritization, and technical decisions
- Conduct technical interviews, including live coding and structured evaluations
- Review and approve code before production; enforce quality gates and best practices
- Establish engineering standards (coding, PR/review process, Git workflows, documentation)
- Ensure scalability, performance, security, and operational reliability (monitoring/observability)
- Oversee release/deployment readiness in collaboration with the team
- Translate business goals into a practical technical roadmap across systems
- 7+ years professional software development experience (backend/API‑heavy)
- Strong expertise in API design and backend/system architecture
- High confidence in evaluating code quality and guiding engineering excellence
