We are looking for a Senior Tech Lead (Backend & Architecture) to take full ownership of our backend systems and technical architecture.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not just a coding position. You will be responsible for designing scalable systems, making key architectural decisions, and ensuring engineering excellence across all backend operations.

You will work closely with product and business teams to translate complex requirements into reliable, scalable, and production-ready systems.

🔹 Backend Architecture Ownership

Design and evolve scalable backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure.

🔹 Technical Leadership

Define engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality delivery across the stack.

🔹 System Design & Scalability

Lead architectural decisions around distributed systems, integrations, and performance optimization.

🔹 Queue & Worker Systems

Design and maintain asynchronous processing systems and background job architectures.

🔹 Performance & Reliability

Ensure systems are stable, secure, observable, and optimized for scale.

🔹 Team Guidance

Mentor engineers and support them in delivering high-quality technical output.

🔹 API & Integration Management

Oversee complex API ecosystems and third-party integrations.

We are looking for a true senior-level engineer with strong backend depth:

• 5+ years experience in backend development & system architecture
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with BullMQ + Redis
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Deep understanding of queue / worker patterns
• Experience building scalable distributed systems
• Strong API design and integration experience
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and data-quality tooling
• Proven ability to independently own technical decisions
• Strong communication skills in remote teams
