This client-facing role is responsible for:

  • Managing implementation and support activities related to inbound and outbound integrations between Mercans’ global payroll software, HR Blizz (HRB), and third-party applications.
  • Ensuring seamless integration with Human Capital Management (HCM), Workforce Management (WFM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), banking, and other ancillary software solutions.
  • Gathering and analyzing business requirements for inbound integrations from source systems to HRB and outbound integrations from HRB to target systems.
  • Supporting troubleshooting, documentation, and quality assurance efforts.
  • Managing project plans, timelines, and deliverables related to integration implementations.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful integration execution.
  • Coordinating integration configuration activities with other workstreams, including product and report configuration teams, to ensure seamless system setup.
  • Supporting the business development team with integration-related workshops and questions, showcasing the company’s integration capabilities.
  • Integration Management:
  • Lead the integration workstream within payroll implementation projects, overseeing the entire end-to-end lifecycle of HRB system integrations with client-specific applications.
  • Configure and manage inbound and outbound integrations between HRB and third-party applications.
  • Ensure that business requirements for integrations are accurately gathered, documented, and implemented.
  • Client Requirement Analysis
  • Analyze clients’ existing payroll processes and systems to define necessary integrations, including HCM, WFM, and ERP.
  • Research, gather, and synthesize integration-related information to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define the data flow, transformation rules, and system dependencies for inbound and outbound interfaces.
  • Project Documentation & Planning
  • Develop project documentation, including integration project plans, risk matrices, and dependency analysis.
  • Document client business requirements and ensure alignment with integration solutions.
  • Create and maintain HRB integration mapping documents for both inbound and outbound interfaces.
  • Manage project scope, risks, and issue resolution processes to keep integration projects on track.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for integration-related discussions with clients and internal teams.
  • Facilitate regular status updates, meetings, and collaboration between technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure that integration-related expectations, timelines, and requirements are effectively communicated and met.
  • Collaborate with product and report configuration teams to ensure smooth coordination across all workstreams.
  • Support business development efforts by conducting workshops and presentations on integration capabilities.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Conduct system integration and scenario-based testing of inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Document all testing results and ensure successful execution.
  • Perform integration testing during HRB product upgrades and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Integration Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  • Monitor integrations to ensure they execute without errors.
  • Troubleshoot integration errors by analyzing logs and resolving issues.
  • Identify root causes of recurring errors and implement long-term improvements.
  • Maintain and update the HRB integration catalog.
  • Compliance & Statutory Integrations
  • When required, analyze and document integrations with local statutory authorities (e.g., social security, tax, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll, HCM, and WFM integrations (experience in at least one of these areas is required).
  • Strong expertise in REST and SOAP API technologies.
  • Experience with Java, Kotlin, or PHP development.
  • Proven track record in a client-facing role.
  • Hands-on experience in business requirements gathering, system analysis, project planning, and documentation.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring cross-functional alignment in integration projects.
