We’re looking for a Senior Integration / Commerce Backend Engineer to build and maintain the two-way integration between our ERP system and two Shopify stores.
This is a hands-on backend role focused on e-commerce/ERP integrations, product data, inventory, orders, and B2B pricing.
What you’ll do:
Build and maintain ERP Shopify data synchronization
Design product, variant, SKU, size and color data structures
Synchronize products, inventory, pricing and orders
Implement B2B pricing, price lists, customer groups and net/gross pricing
Build reliable queue-based integration workflows
Troubleshoot real-world synchronization and integration failures
Requirements
6+ years backend development experience
3+ years in e-commerce, ERP or product-data systems
Strong Node.js, TypeScript and PostgreSQL
Experience with queues/message-processing systems
Proven experience building two-way ERP Shopify, Amazon, eBay or similar commerce integrations
Practical experience with B2B/wholesale pricing and EU VAT
Important
We are not looking for general Shopify developers, frontend developers, or candidates whose integration experience is limited to Stripe, Google Maps or basic e-commerce websites.
You must be able to explain a real production system you personally built where product data went to an e-commerce platform and orders/inventory came back into the system, including a technical problem you encountered and how you solved it.
