About the Role
We’re a fast-growing e-commerce company running a modern, conversion-driven, headless commerce stack. Our work sits very close to revenue: sales pages, checkout flows, attribution accuracy, tracking integrity, and deep integrations across Shopify, checkout platforms, CRMs, and third-party tools.
This is a hands-on engineering role spanning front-end conversion experiences and backend systems and integrations. You’ll work in a real-world production environment where platforms are imperfect, priorities can shift based on business needs, and engineers are expected to take ownership of systems that directly impact revenue.
What You’ll Actually Do (Day to Day)
● Build and maintain high-conversion front-end experiences across headless funnels, landing pages, product and offer pages, checkout flows, upsells, and post-purchase flows
● Work with Shopify as part of a headless architecture, alongside custom front ends and funnel builders
● Own and improve customer-facing UI tied directly to revenue and conversion
● Build and maintain integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs (including Shopify APIs and third-party platforms)
● Own and debug end-to-end conversion tracking across Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and server-side events (CAPI or equivalent)
● Investigate and fix attribution discrepancies, missing events, mismatched data, and deduplication issues
● Work directly with checkout, payments, post-purchase flows, and CRM integrations
● Implement and maintain custom client-side tracking and logic using JavaScript (including DOM manipulation when platforms fall short)
● Build and maintain backend logic and integrations (PHP & MySQL preferred)
● Work with webhooks, third-party APIs, CSV-based data flows, and internal automations
● Support and improve internal tools (including JS-based tools and web dialers such as Twilio integrations)
● Debug real production issues where performance, tracking accuracy, data integrity, or revenue is impacted
● Collaborate asynchronously with a remote engineering and growth team
Non-Negotiable Requirements
You must have hands-on experience with all of the following:
● Strong front-end experience building and maintaining sales-focused e-commerce flows, including landing pages, product and offer pages, checkout flows, upsells, and post-purchase experiences
● Headless or API-driven e-commerce architectures, not just theme-level or no-code store setups
● Shopify development beyond theme customization (apps, APIs, advanced integrations, or checkout-related work)
● End-to-end conversion tracking ownership, including implementation and debugging of Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and server-side events (CAPI or equivalent), with a strong understanding of attribution mechanics
● REST and GraphQL APIs, preferably including Shopify APIs and third-party platform integrations
● Strong JavaScript skills for front-end logic, tracking scripts, and custom platform workarounds
● Solid backend experience with APIs, webhooks, and data flows (PHP & MySQL strongly preferred)
● Experience working inside real e-commerce product environments (not only generic SaaS or service-agency projects)
● 5+ years of real-world development experience at product companies or serious engineering teams
● Ability to design solutions end to end, not just implement tasks, and take ownership of system integrity and reliability
What We’re Looking For
● Practical experience with e-commerce businesses operating at scale, including paid traffic and attribution challenges
● Comfort working close to checkout, payments, revenue systems, and CRM flows
● Strong understanding of how tracking, attribution, and analytics connect to real marketing campaigns
● Experience working with imperfect or fast-moving platforms and building pragmatic workarounds when tools fall short
● Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (experience with React or Vue is a plus)
● Comfort designing and maintaining integrations across multiple third-party platforms (CRMs, marketing platforms, checkout systems etc.)
● Experience with Checkout Champ or similar checkout / CRM platforms is a strong plus
● Familiarity with AI-powered workflows and API-based AI integrations is a plus (you should be comfortable using AI to accelerate work while fully owning the output)
● Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, remote environment with shifting priorities based on production needs
Work Schedule & Availability
● Full-time, fully remote role (40 hours/week)
● Strong daily overlap required during PK / Dubai working hours
● This is an urgent hire, and we’re prioritizing candidates who can start soon
