The Senior Consultant BAU Middle East is responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll outsourcing services for clients across the Middle East. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while acting as the primary client contact. The position drives operational excellence, statutory compliance, process automation, and continuous service improvement in a fast-paced global payroll environment.

  • Manage end-to-end multi-country payroll processing.
  • Validate payroll data, calculations, Gross-to-Net (G2N), bank files, and General Ledger reconciliation.
  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with payroll calendars and SLAs.
  • Manage year-end payroll, tax reporting, statutory filings, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement required updates.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements.
  • Maintain services within contractual scope and prevent scope creep.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
  • Support governance activities and resolve client issues promptly.
  • Transition new clients from Implementation to BAU following Hypercare.
  • Review client documentation, configurations, and payroll setup before operational handover.
  • Develop backup resources, knowledge transfer plans, and business continuity procedures.
  • Maintain accurate payroll documentation, SOPs, and change records.
  • Identify payroll process inefficiencies and recommend automation opportunities.
  • Work with IT and process improvement teams to enhance payroll workflows.
  • Monitor automation initiatives and support continuous operational improvements.
  • Track payroll support tickets and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare operational and SLA performance reports.
  • Monitor payroll quality, compliance, and client satisfaction metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional payroll certification (CPP, CIPP, IPASS, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 7+ years of global payroll outsourcing or payroll consulting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Middle East and international payroll regulations.
  • Experience with payroll systems, automation, SLA management, and support processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.
  • Achieve 99.7% payroll accuracy.
  • Maintain 100% on-time payroll processing.
  • Achieve 95% SLA compliance.
  • Maintain 100% statutory compliance.
  • Achieve 90% client satisfaction.
  • Complete 100% payroll documentation and SOP updates.
  • Automate at least five payroll processes.
