About the Role
We are hiring a highly skilled Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing US-based company in a fully remote position. You will work on modern cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, CI/CD automation, observability systems, and scalable distributed platforms used in production environments.
This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about cloud architecture, automation, infrastructure-as-code, reliability engineering, and platform scalability.
You will collaborate directly with engineering and product teams to build secure, scalable, and highly available cloud systems across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Build and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE)
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Create and optimiz e CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or FluxCD
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, and system performance
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Loki, or CloudWatch
- Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell
- Manage networking, IAM, RBAC, DNS, load balancing, and cloud security best practices
- Support production systems, incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with developers and engineering teams to improve deployment workflows and developer productivity
- Participate in cloud migration, platform engineering, and automation initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps Engineering, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM)
- Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience in production environments
- Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience
- Experience with Linux systems administration and cloud networking
- Scripting/programming experience with Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with GitOps workflows and Kubernetes-native tooling
- Understanding of SRE principles, SLIs/SLOs, and incident management
- Experience with security, compliance, and policy-as-code tooling
- Experience supporting high-scale production systems and microservices architecture
- Platform engineering or internal developer platform experience is a plus
