Senior Auditor - Technical full time

Location: Qatar

The Auditor-Technical is responsible for conducting technical internal audits within a steel or manufacturing environment. The role focuses on evaluating manufacturing processes, plant performance, resource consumption, and cost control measures to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement. The auditor supports operational excellence by ensuring audits lead to actionable insights that enhance production efficiency, energy utilization, and operational cost optimization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Metallurgy), or a related technical field.

Certifications (Recommended)

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Audit certifications/license.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
• Certified Automation Professional (CAP)
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP).

Minimum Experience: 

5 years minimum audit experience in the field of technical internal audits in a steel/manufacturing industry

Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical):

• Experience in conducting detailed Manufacturing Audits and Benchmarking of Consumption of Raw Materials, Energy and other Resources.
• Plants Performance Evaluation (Capacity, Production, Energy Efficiency, Equipment efficiency etc.).
• Optimization of Cost Control Measures in Production, Maintenance and Operations (including Turnarounds – Planned Shutdowns).
