Position Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance. This role provides strategic financial insights to support business decisions while ensuring accurate financial records and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Monitor cash flow and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate audits and statutory filings.
  • Improve financial processes and reporting systems.
  • Support leadership with financial planning and decision-making.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and accounting software.
