We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper with property management experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Appfolio, and will have a proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records for property management companies. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks, including invoicing, payroll processing, financial reporting, and more. Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, and receipts.
- Support daily, monthly, and annual accounting and administrative operations.
- Record Visa transactions in QuickBooks Online and generate corresponding invoices.
- Manage invoicing and processing for Konica and Xerox copier reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses.
- Track office supplies and postage expenses.
- Maintain and update spreadsheet data with accuracy.
- Review employee timecards for accuracy, including overtime calculations.
- Assist employees with timecard log-in inquiries.
- Generate and distribute overtime reports to managers.
- Update QuickBooks records for maintenance technician emergency calls.
- Conduct an initial review of payroll sheets for accuracy.
- Review and record monthly mileage reports.
- Process reimbursements as needed.
- Verify and enter on-call invoices.
- Review and validate lease-up commissions for accuracy.
- Stay informed on industry trends, financial legislation, and company policies through ongoing education and professional development.
- Utilize Appfolio software for property management tasks such as tracking payments, generating reports, and updating financial records.
