Overview:
We’re looking for a screenwriter to be part of our growing team of contractors focused on creating engaging YouTube content for real estate professionals. Our goal is to help viewers make informed decisions about real estate while generating organic leads for real estate agents. We are seeking a creative and knowledgeable screenwriter to join us in delivering high-quality, insightful, and captivating videos that educate, inform, and engage our audience.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced freelance screenwriter with a passion for real estate and digital content creation. They will also have experience writing for YouTube or other online platforms, understand YouTube SEO, and have a knack for turning complex real estate topics into engaging stories. This role involves close collaboration with our team to produce scripts that resonate with viewers and drive organic traffic and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Write compelling, clear, and engaging scripts on various real estate topics tailored for YouTube and our target audience.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure all content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current market trends.
- Incorporate YouTube SEO best practices, including keyword optimization, to improve video performance.
- Adapt scripts based on feedback to ensure they align with the video production goals and maintain viewer engagement.
- Collaborate with editors, videographers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive final video product.
Requirements:
- EXTREMELY fluent in English (preferably native speaker).
- Proven experience as a screenwriter for YouTube or other digital content (portfolio required).
- Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, audience engagement, and digital marketing principles.
- Real estate knowledge or experience writing for similar industries preferred.
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to make complex information accessible and interesting.
- Ability to adapt and revise content based on feedback.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with the ideation process, contributing fresh, relevant video topic ideas that appeal to our target audience.
- Knowledge of different YouTube strategies within real estate or similar niches.
- Ability to analyze and stay updated on industry trends to suggest content ideas that align with our channel’s growth strategy and goals.
