I’m a senior developer with 12+ years of experience working on WooCommerce and SaaS platforms. I run a developer-led agency and need a detail-focused QA Engineer to test websites and interfaces before release.
This is an hourly, remote position. You’ll work independently using a desktop time-tracking app that captures screenshots, so attention and focus are key.
- Test websites and web apps (desktop + mobile view)
- Report bugs with clear steps, screenshots, or videos
- Check functionality based on brief specs or user expectations
- Re-test issues after fixes
- Work async, communicate clearly via text (no calls or meetings)
- Experience testing websites, UIs, or SaaS tools manually
- Familiarity with time-tracking tools that take screenshots
- Can spot visual issues, logic errors, and broken flows
- Writes clean, actionable bug reports
- Familiar with DevTools, task boards (Trello/ClickUp), screen recorders
- WordPress or WooCommerce knowledge
- Postman or basic API testing experience
- Knows how to test across browsers and responsive views
Message with:
- What tools you’ve used for testing and reporting
- An example of a real bug you found and how you described it
- Your hourly rate and weekly availability
We’re looking for someone who works quietly, reliably, and knows how to catch issues before users do. If that sounds like you, let’s talk.
