We’re looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team.

As a QA Engineer, you will define, plan, and execute hands-on tests to evaluate new software, ensuring best-practice testing is consistently applied. You’ll craft clear test cases and checklists, perform exploratory and regression testing across devices and environments, and document defects with precise steps and evidence. Partnering closely with delivery teams and Software Engineers, you’ll clarify requirements, prioritise issues, and support efficient releases through test readiness and UAT. You’ll build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute to our goal of delivering reliable, user-friendly experiences for clients and their customers.

You should be comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced environment, and not shy away from a challenge.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of testing in a digital agency / software engineering environment
  • Experience testing APIs
  • Understanding of the full software engineering lifecycle
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Work flexibly to meet the demands of a client led business
  • Strong numerical literacy; comfortable designing and executing tests for complex, calculation-heavy scenarios, validating results against formulas, edge cases, and large datasets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cloud & DevOps and automated testing tools
  • Experience with complex web apps
  • Experience testing applications in the Financial sector

What you’ll do

  • Undertake manual testing of web mobile applications
  • Understand documented software requirements for web and mobile applications, and use these to write associated test scripts
  • Document defects and replication steps using tools such as Jira
  • Liaise with project teams and Software Engineers to full understand user requirements to ensure delivery is successful
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Share QA KPIs and updates with key stakeholders, both internal and client facing.
  • Prepare and write QA reports.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Implement automated testing with tools such as Test Project and BrowserStack
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Proven experience or ability to learn nodejs & cypress
