The Role:

Smart Energy is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Pre-Installation Audit Assistant to support our growing audit function within the Building Channel. This role is ideal for someone with strong data entry skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for clean, accurate documentation. You will play a critical role in completing sales audits, reviewing submitted information, and ensuring installations are ready prior to installation date. 

Duties and Responsibilties

  • Complete and submit pre-installation audit packs using checklist-based review.
  • Upload and correctly name job files, photos, and documents to company systems.
  • Follow internal SOPs and Tettra guides to ensure consistency across jobs.
  • Identify and flag missing or unclear data to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain SLA turnaround times for assigned audits.
  • Communicate with internal teams via Slack to clarify job information.
  • Track and update task progress in shared Google Sheets, CRMs, or task trackers.
  • Suggest process improvements based on recurring gaps or audit errors.

You must have (Education/Experience)

  • Tertiary Level Education
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent written English and communication skills
  • 1-2 years’ experience in virtual assistance, admin support, or data processing
  • Strong Google Workspace / Microsoft Office skills
  • Comfortable using Slack, Tettra, CRMs, and cloud storage systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable internet connection and professional work-from-home setup
  • Ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines

This role is remote and will be performed Monday - Fri 9AM - 5PM (AEST)

Also note the role will be paid $7 AUD p/h at 40 hours p/w due to being and Australian based buinsess.
