We are seeking an empathetic, highly structured, and knowledgeable People Operations Generalist to own and scale our human resources foundation. As our team expands across engineering, product, and operations, you will be the champion of our employee experience, compliance frameworks, and internal team health. Working alongside our Talent Acquisition specialist, you will take full ownership of the post-hire employee lifecycle—ensuring every new team member is flawlessly onboarded, accurately integrated into our systems, and supported throughout their career with us.

Your mission will be to maintain an inclusive, legally compliant, and highly functional remote workplace culture that empowers our global workforce to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Employee Onboarding: Design, optimize, and execute the global onboarding experience for all new hires, coordinating laptop provisioning, identity access management setups, and cultural immersion templates.

• HR Compliance & Policy Management: Maintain and iterate our company employee handbook, staying fully current on remote-work legal compliance, state/country labor guidelines, and internal corporate data policies.

• Payroll, Perks, & Benefits Administration: Manage monthly relationship tasks with our PEO/HRIS platforms to ensure precise payroll processing, expense reimbursements, health insurance integrations, and contractor management.

• Performance & Talent Management: Administer regular peer-review frameworks, employee feedback cycles, career-mapping syncs, and internal promotion workflows to foster long-term retention.

• Culture & Employee Engagement: Plan, schedule, and host recurring virtual team-building events, employee check-ins, and survey mechanisms to monitor team wellness and address remote burnout early.

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience handling Human Resources or People Operations tasks, ideally within a high-growth, remote-first tech company or software startup.

• Deep practical experience navigating modern HRIS, PEO, and payroll software architectures designed for distributed global teams (such as Deel, Rippling, Gusto, or Remote.com).

• Comprehensive baseline knowledge of international contractor regulations, localized labor laws, and workplace compliance boundaries.

• Exceptional emotional intelligence, active listening talents, and conflict resolution capabilities, with a proven history of treating confidential data with absolute discretion.

• Brilliant written communication skills, with a native ability to write organizational documentation that is clear, professional, and accessible to a diverse workforce.
