We are looking for a creative and skilled Part-Time Video Editor to join our team and help bring our product videos, promotional content, and other marketing materials to life. As a freelance video editor, you will receive raw video footage and be responsible for editing it into high-quality, engaging content that aligns with our brand.
This role is project-based, and you will be compensated per completed video. The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality videos for product demonstrations, promotional materials, and social media.
• Add transitions, text overlays, sound effects, and background music to videos to enhance the overall quality.
• Ensure the videos align with the brand’s visual and stylistic guidelines.
• Collaborate with the team to make any necessary revisions and adjustments.
• Deliver final edited videos in the specified format and within the agreed-upon time frame.
• Optimize videos for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
Payment Model:
• Paid on a per-video basis.
• Expected to complete videos within a reasonable turnaround time (usually within a few days).
Required Skills:
• Video Editing Software: Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.).
• Experience: Prior experience in video editing, especially for e-commerce or promotional content.
• Creative Vision: Ability to bring raw footage to life by adding creative elements such as transitions, sound effects, graphics, and music.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring the final product is polished, cohesive, and meets the brand’s standards.
• Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and deliver completed projects on time.
• Sound Editing: Experience with basic audio editing to enhance the quality of sound in videos (e.g., noise reduction, volume control).
• Collaboration Skills: Able to communicate effectively and work closely with the team to refine video content.
Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have):
• Motion Graphics: Ability to create simple animations or motion graphics to include in videos.
• Experience with YouTube SEO: Understanding how to optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags for better visibility on platforms like YouTube.
• Experience with Social Media Editing: Knowledge of creating content specifically optimized for different social media platforms (e.g., Instagram Stories, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
