Part-Time QA Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time QA Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring our web and app platforms are functional, reliable, and user-friendly. You’ll work closely with our developers, UI/UX designers, and digital marketing team to test new features, spot issues early, and support clean product launches.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute manual and automated test cases
  • Test all new features, bug fixes, and integrations before release
  • Perform end-to-end testing on web, mobile (Flutter), and back-end systems
  • Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproducible steps
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Maintain a QA checklist for recurring tests (regression testing)
  • Participate in release cycles and sign off on production pushes
  • Test API integrations (Stripe, BambooHR, Trulio, WhatToMine, Binance, etc.)
  • Verify data flow across platforms (CRM, Accounting, KYC modules)

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of QA experience (web, mobile, APIs)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and QA best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, GitHub, and test case management tools
  • Ability to perform manual testing; automation (e.g., Selenium) is a bonus
  • Experience testing Flutter apps
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with crypto/fintech products a plus (not required)

Bonus Points:

  • Prior work with behavioral analytics (e.g., Mouseflow)
  • Experience testing Freshsales chatbot/Ai 

Compensation:

  • Negotiable, depending on location, deferred to 90 days post App launch date (estimated to occur in 4-6 weeks).  The role transitions into a permanent hire thereafter.
