Looking for part time (2-4 hours daily) virtual staff with experience in medical billing and coding as well as insurance verification and denial, and appeal management.
Prefer experience with Athena Health EMR. Tasks will include
Verify insurance eligibility (including CPT Codes) electronically and via phone
Assign insurance plans to patient charts
Ensure insurance cards are uploaded to the chart for patient visits
Make sure financial consents are signed by the patient and uploaded to the chart
This is also a good position for people with prior bookkeeping, accounting and/or business experience.
This is a part time position.
We prefer contractors that can work 8:30 am-7 pm CST Monday-Friday with limited shifts available on weekends.
