- Submit and follow up on medical claims with insurance companies
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Review and resolve denied or rejected claims
- Process patient billing and payment posting
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
- Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
- Previous experience in medical billing required
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance claim procedures
- Experience with pediatric billing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
