We need a part-time (10hours per month) Mandarin speaking trade content provider who is located inside China. As a Mandarin speaking trade content provider, you are expected to have experience in the field of international trade, or trade consulting firms, as freight forwarders, customs clearance agents, or customs brokers. You are also required to perform a variety of tasks including:
- Register on relevant official websites and extract data that contain information about international trade regulations, databases etc. that affect our customers’ ability to do international business.
- Keep us informed on customs tariff amendments and/or relevant legislative changes in China.
- Obtain clarifications on our queries from relevant government departments/authorities.
- Share the trade-related regulations/publications which are difficult to obtain from outside China.
- Carry out translation of trade data from Chinese into English and back
- Arrange the hard copies of tariff book if needed.
- Document research procedures in our internal knowledge base.
- Monitor and research regulations and related data.
- Obtain clarifications from relevant authorities.
- Optimize and document processes.
- Carry out translation.
Required:
- Proficient Chinese and English language skills.
- Experience in international trade as customs clearance agent, customs broker, freight-forwarder, etc.
- Good knowledge of import and export operations in China.
- Knack for research and investigation tasks.
- Professional communication skills.
