We’re seeking talented freelance LEDs who can translate content into engaging, interactive, and visually impactful learning experiences. This role supports the end-to-end design process, working closely with subject matter experts, multimedia designers, and developers to ensure all content aligns with learning goals, technical specifications, and quality standards. The LED operates within a fully remote environment, contributing to projects across corporate, education, and skills development sectors.
Essential:
- 3+ years' experience designing learning solutions, with a focus on digital/eLearning formats.
- Deep understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and assessment strategies.
- Proven ability to storyboard for tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, or similar.
- Excellent writing skills – structured, engaging, and tailored to tone and audience.
- Proficiency working Microsoft Office Suite.
- Confidence working remotely with multidisciplinary teams.
Advantageous:
- Experience in the EdTech, corporate training, or higher education sector.
- Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and LMS functionality.
- Experience applying accessibility and inclusion principles in learning design.
- Familiarity with AI-supported design tools or workflow-enhancing tech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct learning needs analysis and define learner personas.
- Map and align learning objectives with outcomes and assessments.
- Design and storyboard learning content using visual, written, and interactive elements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform content into structured learning flows.
- Script narrative and audio-visual elements to support video, animation, and voiceovers.
- Ensure all learning materials align with accessibility, instructional, and brand standards.
- Work within agile teams and adapt to changing project priorities and stakeholder input.
- Contribute to internal reviews and implement feedback across Alpha, Beta, and Gold stages.
