Clariva is seeking independent sales representatives to help identify prospective customers, generate interest, qualify opportunities, and arrange conversations with our founder and technical team.

This role is well suited to someone with cybersecurity, software, SaaS, cloud, IT, privacy, data-governance, or other technical B2B sales experience who is comfortable creating opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and relationship development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Researching prospective customers, relevant AI initiatives, and decision-makers
  • Conducting professional outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, referrals, and networking
  • Explaining Clariva’s value clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Qualifying customer needs, interest, timing, stakeholders, and buying process
  • Scheduling introductory and discovery conversations
  • Maintaining accurate records of prospect activity and opportunities
  • Supporting follow-up, stakeholder coordination, and sales progression when appropriate

Clariva’s founder and technical team will lead detailed product, security, deployment, pricing, legal, and commercial discussions.

Strong candidates will have:

  • Experience selling cybersecurity, enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, IT, privacy, AI, or another technical B2B solution
  • A record of successful outbound prospecting and consultative selling
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • The ability to explain technical concepts without overstating product capabilities
  • Experience identifying and engaging relevant business and technical decision-makers
  • Sound judgment, reliable follow-through, and disciplined opportunity management
  • The ability to work independently in a flexible, results-oriented environment

Experience selling to small and midsized software or technology companies is helpful. A bachelor’s degree is not required when the candidate has relevant practical experience.

This is a flexible, non-exclusive independent-contractor opportunity: representatives set their own schedules and working methods, may provide services to other organizations subject to confidentiality and conflict-of-interest obligations, and are not subject to fixed hours, mandatory activity quotas, or employee-style KPIs.

This is initially a commission-only independent-contractor role.

Representatives may earn 5% to 15% of qualifying first-year software revenue, depending on their documented contribution to the opportunity and sales process.

Commissions are uncapped.

Full commission terms and opportunity-registration requirements will be documented in the independent-contractor agreement.

Depending on the representative’s success and Clariva’s funding, revenue, and broader business needs, a high-performing representative may later be considered for a full-time position with:

  • Base salary
  • Employee benefits
  • Commission or bonus compensation
  • Expanded sales responsibilities

A future employment opportunity is not guaranteed and would be documented separately.

  • Authorized to work or provide services in the United States
  • No visa sponsorship required
  • Relevant technical or B2B sales experience
  • Comfortable conducting outbound prospecting
  • Professional communication and dependable follow-through
