Your responsibilities will include:
• Prepare job descriptions, post job ads, screen applications, and conduct interviews specifically for fitness trainers, wellness coaches, and other fitness-related roles.
• Organize and manage orientation programs for new employees, including training on fitness equipment, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive workplace culture that promotes health and wellness.
• Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry-specific regulations.
• Monitor employee performance, conduct evaluations, and implement improvement plans tailored to fitness professionals.
• Oversee payroll processing and manage employee benefits programs, including health and wellness benefits.
**Skills and Qualifications: **
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are advantageous.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of HR software, and understanding of labor laws.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive actions and outcomes
