Job Overview:

The HR Specialist provides essential support to the HR department and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in handling HR-related administrative tasks. The role involves managing employee records, coordinating onboarding/offboarding, maintaining databases, and supporting HR projects in a fully remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records accurately.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork and documentation.
  • Post job listings, screen candidates, and schedule interviews.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and databases.
  • Track employee attendance and leave; generate attendance reports for payroll processing.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed.
  • Manage HR department calendars, meetings, and appointments.
  • Support special HR projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR.
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working on a Central Standard Time schedule.

  • HR Software: Applicant Tracking Systems, Loxo.
  • Office Tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace.

Must Have:

  • Computer or laptop with at least 8GB RAM & i5 processor (or equivalent).
  • Stable high-speed wired internet connection with backup.
  • Stable power supply.
  • Quiet and dedicated workspace.
  • Smartphone for communication as needed.
