Job Overview:
The HR Specialist provides essential support to the HR department and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in handling HR-related administrative tasks. The role involves managing employee records, coordinating onboarding/offboarding, maintaining databases, and supporting HR projects in a fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records accurately.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork and documentation.
- Post job listings, screen candidates, and schedule interviews.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and databases.
- Track employee attendance and leave; generate attendance reports for payroll processing.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed.
- Manage HR department calendars, meetings, and appointments.
- Support special HR projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR.
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with HR software and databases.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working on a Central Standard Time schedule.

- HR Software: Applicant Tracking Systems, Loxo.
- Office Tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace.
Must Have:
- Computer or laptop with at least 8GB RAM & i5 processor (or equivalent).
- Stable high-speed wired internet connection with backup.
- Stable power supply.
- Quiet and dedicated workspace.
- Smartphone for communication as needed.
