HR Executive – Job Description

Position Title- HR Executive

Location- YMCA Club, Ahmedabad and YMCA Oasis, Bavla

Reporting To

President/ Hon Secretary and General Manager

Job Summary

The HR Executive will be responsible for managing recruitment, employee relations, attendance, payroll coordination, HR documentation, compliance, and staff welfare activities. The role requires maintaining a professional and disciplined work culture aligned with YMCA, Ahmedabad values and policies.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Handle hiring processes including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.

  • Coordinate joining formalities and employee documentation.

Employee Records & Documentation

  • Maintain employee files, attendance records, leave records, and HR databases.

  • Prepare appointment letters, warning letters, confirmation letters, and other HR documents.

Payroll & Attendance

  • Coordinate monthly attendance and payroll processing.

  • Maintain leave management and shift records.

Employee Relations

  • Address employee grievances and maintain positive workplace culture.

  • Assist in disciplinary procedures and staff communication.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and statutory requirements.

  • Coordinate PF, ESIC, and other employee-related compliances where applicable.

Training & Performance Management

  • Assist in staff training and performance evaluation processes.

  • Support employee engagement and welfare activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of HR experience preferred.

  • Experience in hospitality, clubs, or service industry will be an advantage.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and HR software.

Salary Package- Rs 3.5 to 4.5 Lakhs CTC
